When Katy told me that she wanted me to photograph their vineyard’s harvest, I knew I just had to make it happen. I’ve been wanting to shoot in a vineyard for awhile now so it felt good to check something off my list, and of course it didn’t hurt that the family was absolutely adorable!

I was blessed to get to photograph so many seniors this year. Seniors are by far my favorite area to shoot, I just feel like I can connect with them and they are excited and nervous all at the same time and eventually I would like to focus mainly on senior photography and weddings. Some of these kids have already graduated, and the rest graduate this weekend. As I sit here reflecting on the class of 2014 I honestly know they will all do great at Texas Tech, Texas A&M- College Station and Corpus Christi, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Tarleton State, Angelo State and the real world! Here are my favorites from the class of 2014.

We got to take these photos of this gorgeous couple, Amy and Matt. Amy is the owner of Al Gawlik Photography and actually did my wedding photos. This was another great experience at this workshop, I loved watching how Julie posed them and these are a few of my favorites.

Writing this blog post seems kind of pointless, words just can’t describe how much I got out of this workshop. I learned so much and I feel so much more prepared for weddings now. I gained motivation for the business side of it, which isn’t always my favorite. I’ve already started putting her great advice to use and I can’t wait to see where my business will take me in the future. Julie was just so friendly and easy to get along with and just so open about everything. She never made us nervous about asking questions and it was just a wonderful experience. Part of the workshop was getting to shoot styled shoots. We did two bridal shoots and a styled wedding shoot. Stay tuned for the wedding photos.
